The primary responsibility of this role is to define and execute growth strategy for Seller business in Japan, with a focus on driving GMS growth, expanding selection, optimizing pricing, and enhancing delivery speed. The role also entails establishing robust tracking mechanisms, leading XBR reviews, and analyzing market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
This individual will also work closely with sourcing country teams to:
Drive Seller adoption through targeted outreach;
Derive insights from Seller experiences to inform strategic direction;
Accelerate Seller growth and post-launch success by expanding selection, improving feature adoption, and increasing conversion rates;
Broaden selection eligibility by educating Sellers on selection compliance requirements.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
- 3+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
- Experience in setting up and managing a sales pipeline
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations- Experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services
