About Rocket Now:
Rocket Now is an innovative food-delivery platform launched in Japan in January 2025 by CP One Japan (a subsidiary of Coupang). It offers zero delivery fees and zero service charges across all orders initially in Tokyo’s 23 wards, with rapid plans for wider expansion.
Role Overview:
As Director of Program Management – Marketing & Partnership Strategy, you will sit at the core of Rocket Now’s growth engine. This leadership role is responsible for designing and driving multi-channel marketing programs and ecosystem partnerships that fuel user growth, elevate brand awareness, and accelerate market penetration. You will define strategy, guide execution, and partner with internal and external stakeholders to scale Rocket Now’s reach and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and lead partnership opportunities with local governments, brands, platforms, and service providers that amplify marketing efforts or unlock new user
funnels.
• Co-develop co-branded campaigns, regional activations, and cross-promotions with partners.
• Build long-term partnership models that align with Rocket Now’s business objectives and geographic growth roadmap.
• Lead strategic marketing initiatives across online, offline, and partner-led channels to grow Rocket Now’s user base and deepen market presence.
• Collaborate with creative, data, and regional ops teams to execute high-impact campaigns (e.g. new city launches, incentive programs, brand awareness efforts).
• Develop scalable frameworks for campaign planning, performance tracking, and optimization (acquisition, activation, retention).
• Align marketing, partnerships, operations, and product teams around go-to-market programs and strategic milestones.
• Create and lead structured program cadences (campaign calendars, launch playbooks, performance reviews).
• Act as the marketing and partnership voice in senior forums, ensuring visibility, alignment, and accountability.
Qualifications:
• 15+ years in marketing, brand strategy, or strategic partnerships, with strong exposure to tech platforms, mobility/logistics, or consumer marketplaces.
• Proven experience launching integrated marketing campaigns and executing partnership strategies that drive measurable growth.
• Strong strategic thinking, business judgment, and creative sensibility.
• Fluent in both Japanese and English; comfortable working across global and local stakeholders.
• Deep familiarity with user acquisition funnels, growth experimentation, and KPIbased program management.
• Proficiency in marketing tools and collaboration platforms
