Outline of the Job
We are seeking a Flight Control System Engineer to be involved in developing our manned eVTOL flight control systems — from concept through certification and entry into service. This role is central to shaping the control systems of next-generation air mobility vehicles and will directly impact the safety, performance, and reliability of our aircraft.
The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong cross-functional collaboration skills, and proven experience with flight control systems in complex aerospace environments.
Responsibilities
- Define and manage Flight Control System (FCS) architecture, covering system-level design, redundancy, safety, and technology integration
- Collaborate with Flight Control Law teams to design, validate, and certify control laws
- Lead ARP4754A-compliant requirements capture, allocation, and validation for FCS functions
- Coordinate and oversee suppliers, including technical negotiations, performance validation, and V&V activities
- Work with certification teams and regulators to develop and execute the FCS certification plan
- Support safety processes through Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA), System Safety Assessments (SSA), and ARP4761 compliance
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas: autopilot systems, fly-by-wire controls, or rotorcraft flight control systems
- Deep knowledge of ARP4754A with working familiarity in ARP4761, DO-178C, DO-254, and related aerospace standards
- Proven experience in implementing certification plans in collaboration with certification engineer
Desirable Skills
- Experience in eVTOL or drone development programs.
- Experience interacting with global regulators or contributing to industry standards (ASTM, RTCA, SAE).
- Familiarity with model-based system engineering (MBSE) practices and tools.

Working Hours
- Flextime or Discretionary labor system
- In the case of flextime: No core time
- Discretionary Labor System: Specialized Class Deemed working hours per day: 10 hours
- Basic working hours: Start 9:00 End 18:00(Including 1hour break time)
- Overtime Work: Available

Salary
- Estimated Annual Salary: JPY 6,850,000- JPY 10,500,000
- Monthly Salary: JPY 571,000- JPY 959,000
- Includes fixed overtime pay for 45 hours, amounting to JPY 197,680- JPY 331,997
*Additional overtime pay will be provided for hours exceeding the fixed overtime.
