[Position] Pre-Sales Technical Specialist (Major Growth Accounts)
Microsoft Japan is seeking a Pre-Sales Technical Specialist to drive endpoint modernization for our customers, leveraging solutions such as Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
This role focuses on customers in the "Major Growth" segment—large domestic enterprises with significant growth potential.
Our mission is to work closely with customers to envision the future of next-generation endpoints, improve existing workstyles, identify new use cases, and accelerate their adoption across the organization.
We welcome candidates with experience or interest in:
Proposing cloud migration strategies for legacy identity platforms and device management
Driving Zero Trust security initiatives with Microsoft Entra ID and Intune
Applying industry expertise to propose VDI / DaaS solutions
Using a Challenger Sales approach to uncover latent customer needs and translate them into solutions

Responsibilities
■ 担当領域における技術専門性の習得と深化
Windows 11、Windows 365、Intune、Autopilot、Microsoft Entra ID、Azure Virtual Desktop などのエンドポイント関連ソリューションについて、Microsoft 製品と競合製品の違いを踏まえた高度な技術知識を習得し、継続的に深めていきます。
■ お客様との技術的な対話の拡大
信頼される技術アドバイザーとして、プレゼンテーション、デモンストレーション、ホワイトボード説明などを駆使し、レガシー環境に留まるお客様をクラウド活用へと導く技術提案を行います。
■ 戦略立案と差別化の推進
Microsoft 製品の強みと競合他社の弱点を理解し、競合優位性を最大限に活かした技術戦略を構築することで、お客様の技術的な意思決定を支援します。
■ ソリューション設計および検証のリード
お客様のビジネスを深く理解したうえで、インサイトの提供や現状の再定義、定量的なビジネスインパクトの提示を通じて、意思決定と導入意欲を高めます。技術的な障壁が発生した場合には、適切にエスカレーションや対処を行い、導入プロセスを前進させます。
■ パートナーとの連携によるスケール実現
パートナーとの共同提案（Sell-with）に積極的に関与し、信頼できる技術情報源として支援を行うことで、パートナー経由での市場拡大を実現します。
■ Developing and Deepening Technical Expertise in the Assigned Solution Areas
Acquire and continuously enhance advanced technical knowledge of endpoint-related solutions—including Windows 11, Windows 365, Intune, Autopilot, Microsoft Entra ID, and Azure Virtual Desktop—while understanding the key differentiators between Microsoft’s offerings and competitor products.
■ Expanding Technical Engagement with Customers
Serve as a trusted technical advisor by leveraging presentation, demonstration, and whiteboarding skills to guide customers from legacy environments toward cloud adoption.
■ Driving Strategy and Competitive Differentiation
Understand Microsoft’s strengths and competitors’ weaknesses to develop technical strategies that maximize competitive advantages, supporting customers in making informed technology decisions.
■ Leading Solution Design and Validation
Gain a deep understanding of customers’ businesses to provide actionable insights, redefine their current state, and present measurable business impacts that drive decision-making and adoption. Address technical barriers through appropriate escalation or resolution to maintain project momentum.
■ Achieving Scale Through Partner Collaboration
Actively engage in co-selling with partners, serving as a trusted technical resource to enable impactful joint proposals and expand market reach through partner-led engagements.
Qualifications
以下のいずれかの経験・学歴を有していること：
テクニカルプリセールスまたは技術コンサルティングの実務経験が5年以上
コンピュータサイエンス、情報技術、または関連分野の学士号を有し、同分野での実務経験が4年以上
コンピュータサイエンス、情報技術、または関連分野の修士号を有し、同分野での実務経験が3年以上
または、それに相当する経験・スキルを有すること
加えて、以下の条件を満たしていること：
クラウド、ハイブリッド、またはオンプレミスのインフラ設計、アーキテクチャ、移行、業界標準、テクノロジー管理に関する実務経験が4年以上
日本語での高いコミュニケーション能力（流暢な会話・読み書き）
ビジネスレベルの英語力（読み書き・会話）
Required Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales or technical consulting
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 4+ years of relevant experience
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 3+ years of relevant experience
Or equivalent experience and skills
In addition, candidates must have:
4+ years of experience with cloud, hybrid, or on-premises infrastructure design, architecture, migrations, industry standards, or technology management
High-level fluency in Japanese (spoken and written)
Business-level proficiency in English (spoken and written)
