Job Description
As a Solutions Engineer, you'll partner with sales teams, lead technical discovery sessions, and design tailored solutions to meet client needs. You'll collaborate across teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of Wix solutions while building strong relationships with enterprise clients. In your day-to-day, you will:
- Partner with sales teams to understand client needs, lead technical discovery sessions, and provide expert consulting and technical support throughout pre-sales and post-sales engagements
- Design, develop, and present customized solutions that align with client business goals, including seamless systems integration and proof-of-concept implementations
- Troubleshoot technical issues, provide ongoing support and guidance during implementation and integration projects, and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with development, product, and engineering teams to define technical requirements, influence platform enhancements, and advocate for enterprise and regional client needs
- Work hands-on with APIs, web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and enterprise authentication protocols (e.g., SSO, OAuth, SAML) to ensure smooth and efficient deployment of Wix solutions
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key client stakeholders by delivering technical demos, gathering and analyzing user and market insights (especially for Japanese users), and continuously recommending data-driven enhancements and feature developments
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar technical role
- Strong technical background in enterprise-level software solutions, integrations, and architecture, with deep expertise in web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), APIs, authentication protocols, networking, cloud services, CRMs, and data platforms
- Proven ability to clearly explain and demo complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, enhancing stakeholder understanding and engagement
- Demonstrated success managing relationships with enterprise clients and collaborating cross-functionally with sales, product, and technical teams to drive client outcomes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and business-level English
- Strong problem-solving abilities, creativity, and a collaborative approach to addressing client challenges and achieving shared goals
- Experience speaking at community events is a plus

Wix Japan is an innovative team focused on expanding Wix’s presence in the Japanese market. Our local team spans Marketing, Sales, HR, Engineering, and Support, and works collaboratively to deliver the best Wix experiences for our customers. This position will support both Channel and Enterprise clients, with a primary focus on building and nurturing relationships with major enterprises such as global Telecoms, Directories, and large-scale corporations.
