From our entire floor of meticulously designed Japanese-inspired guest rooms to our private ofuro (traditional baths), Four Seasons is a contemporary portal to the authentic heart of Osaka, immersing you in the city’s intriguing blend of heritage and modernity.The Assistant Director of Finance works closely alongside the Director of Finance in ensuring Finance operations are in compliance and help to develop accounting staff for future growth with the company. He/she is overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Accounting Department, provides timely and accurate financial information and ensures that the hotel operates within all related local and corporate policies and procedures and under the terms of the management agreement.

Ability to analyze large volume of complex financial information from many sources and create reports, forecasts, and projections
Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate
Ability to proactively identify and prevent potential problems
Ability to help develop problem solving skills among direct reports and other team members as appropriate
Ability to take initiative to identify, prioritize and implement all elements required for team to fulfill responsibilities
Ability to manage and develop staff
Detail oriented and organized
Ability to develop presentations and effectively present to all levels of company, hotels & owners
Strong communication and negotiation skills (all levels of management and external customers)
Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Outlook with the ability to quickly learn new programs when required
What you will bring
Proven experience as an assistant director of finance, finance manager or relevant role
In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices in Japan
Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP)
An analytical mind with a strategic ability
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Hotel Experience is required
