Position Overview:
- VMD is responsible for leveraging and adapting VM initiatives to drive business results in Japan Market while enhancing the brand story through a cohesive blend of creativity and commerciality.
- Assist on all projects related to VM at boutiques.
- Assist for POPUP and special décor for boutiques
- Accomplish the tasks based on the basic knowledge of visual merchandising.
Key Accountabilities:
Support for Products Display Quality(35%)
・Communicate with boutiques to check the display status and follow-ups. Give a guidance as needed to elevate the display quality based on the worldwide display standards + Market needs.
・Create display check reports to headquarter and communicate with boutiques to make necessary adjustments.
・Directive translation(English to Japanese)
Campaign Display (25%)
・Plot creative options and formulate props order to headquarter based on the directive.
・Directive translation into Japanese and adding necessary market needs followed by direction.
Product placement/Layout(20%)
・Update product placement/layout of boutiques to share with boutiques as well as headquarter.
Support for New/Renovation boutiques(10%)
・Preparation of the necessary display materials based on the communication with headquarter.
Support for POPUP and special décor for boutiques(10%)
・Preparation of the appropriate display forms and materials based on the communication with headquarter.
Required Qualifications/Primary Job Requirements:
- More than 3 years experiences in Visual Merchandising
- Knowledge of Design (Design background is preferable)
- Knowledge of Flower coordinate
- English language skill (TOEIC more than 700 score)
- Control of Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Illustrator
- Visit boutiques throughout Japan
- Experience of working in luxury industry is not mandatory but high sensitivity and passion for luxury/lifestyle brands from consumer’s and marketer’s point of view is required
- Proactive, self-motivated with a strong drive for achievement
