The Exchange Market Data Coordinator Team is responsible for coordinating the launch and introduction of new Exchange Products, Product Retirement, Data Migration for existing Products, changes in Exchange approval policies and fee structures.
We are also at the frontline of client interaction, delivering exceptional service while collaborating with key internal stakeholders including Sales, Legal, Compliance, Engineering, and technical teams. You will be responsible for assisting clients with inquiries ranging from real-time enablement steps to complex invoice and reporting protocols and workflows. This cross-functional collaboration is critical to delivering tailored, effective, and compliant solutions that meet evolving client and business needs.
You will interact with clients in a range of sectors, including the finance and legal industries. You will be working directly with 600+ Exchanges across all regions to secure Exchange Agreements and Approvals. High Risk, High Responsibility: Errors in approvals or compliance can result in legal and financial repercussions. You will be responsible for mitigating risk through adhering to all internal and external workflows and processes and the management of our client database.

We'll trust you to:
Effectively manage/administer:
- The end-to-end onboarding process for over 600+ Exchange products and maintaining high standards of timeliness and accuracy
- Exchange agreements and approvals serving as the primary liaison between clients and Exchanges to secure critical authorizations, navigate policy requirements, and maintain legal compliance
- Dedicated support and relationship management for major client firms and internal sales teams
- High volume of Exchange-related customer inquiries across calls, live chats, emails, and other client communication tools with accuracy and timeliness. These are level 1 inquiries from clients, internal business groups, and exchanges
- Investigation and resolution of Exchange invoicing issues (partnering with Accounting), ensuring financial accuracy and seamless client experience. These invoicing inquiries are primarily from clients regarding their Bloomberg invoices
- Risk mitigation for Bloomberg and our Clients by enforcing internal controls, adhering to Exchanges driven policies, protecting both from exposure
Be Technically Proficient, have strong attention to details, and an analytical approach:
- Have a strong understanding of or interest in Bloomberg Products and systems (i.e.: Terminal/SAPI/Bpipe/Data License)
- Working knowledge of client data implementation (Real-Time, Delayed, 3rd Party) via various delivery points for data dissemination and consumption
- Have excellent knowledge of internal systems and functions to understand process backend logic
- In-depth knowledge of financial markets (ticker, security, market depth, pricing source)
- Strong knowledge of major Global Exchanges such as NYSE, CME, TMX, NASDAQ and LSE including their product structures, reporting obligations, and approval frameworks
- Advanced troubleshooting, research, and problem-solving skills — essential for diagnosing client issues, navigating complex workflows, and identifying root causes across multiple systems
- The ability to analyze current and future data pricing, reporting obligations, enablement logic and systematic limitations required for product implementation
- Strong risk-awareness mindset, with the ability to proactively identify potential financial, compliance, or reputational risks related to Exchange product implementation and client configuration
As Your Tenure Progresses, You'll Be Expected To:
- Lead level 1 Exchange Projects which may include basic price, description or policy changes, new product releases, and data migrations. This includes planning and organizing resources to ensure prompt execution of projects, setting strategy and planning, providing quality control, milestone tracking, updates, and driving projects to completion.
- Consulting with Engineering Teams to articulate system enhancements, test new functionalities, improve workflow inefficiencies, and rectify glitches.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and regulatory risks associated with implementing changes to Exchange products, processes, or infrastructure — ensuring minimal business disruption and full compliance.
- Developing deep subject matter expertise of Bloomberg and Exchange products.
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of internal systems and backend logic.
- Serve as a trainer, consultant, and trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders — including colleagues, clients, and cross-functional business partners. You’ll deliver operational guidance, best practices, and strategic input on Exchange-related initiatives.
You'll need to have:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service roles (interacting with both internal and external clients - customer support or account management roles), preferably in the Finance and Professional Services industry.
- Experience in data management, processing, maintenance, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong interest in learning various systems in a fast-paced environment (Bloomberg Terminal, Microsoft Suite, SAP etc.)
- Knowledge of or an interest in financial markets
- Adaptability with process and systems changes
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines with attention to detail and quality
- Display confidence, emotional intelligence, and decisiveness throughout your daily responsibilities
- Be self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Business level proficiency in Japanese, Chinese and English
