Media Production Specialist

Main Objective:

The Media Production Specialist will collaborate with the Digital Marketing Specialist in production of various digital assets to be used to execute marketing strategies set forth by Product Marketing Managers and Specialists.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Digital Marketing Specialist in production of high-quality graphics and video content.
• Work with Product Marketing Managers and Specialists to provide digital assets tailored to each product's characteristics and product strategies.
• Ensure content consistently align with the established brand guidelines.
• Communication with Arthrex Inc. and Arthrex APAC Digital personnel in English.
• Smooth cooperation between departments involved in business such as Marketing / Medical Education and their staff.
• MRM
  • Super user for Arthrex Japan.
  • Responsible for project management from submission into MRM to complete final version.
• DAM
  • Super user for Arthrex Japan.
  • Ensures that Arthrex Japan is aware and has access to the latest digital assets so they can be implemented into digital strategy.

Education and Experience

4-year university graduate

At least 2 years of experience in media production and videography

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with excellent working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, as well as After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple projects at once.
• Good communication and collaboration skills. Ability to partner with and influence others without direct authority; build consensus and look for collaboration with people from different departments and all levels.
• Strong interpersonal skills as well as a good understanding of the principles and practices of conducting negotiations and achieving results through persuasion and diplomacy.
• Time management effectively and productively in accordance with objectives.
• Prioritize goals, activities, etc., and properly balance long-term important activities with short-term urgent requirements.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Adobe Creative Suite (i.e., Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop)

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Quantitative and statistical analytical skills.

Language and Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal, writing and reading skills in Japanese.

English language ability with fluent conversational skills and understanding of business English.

Positive approach in communicating with others.  Can clearly express ideas and issues effectively to customers and colleagues in verbal and written forms.

Able to professionally accommodate promotional business partners to solicit their willing cooperation and support.
