As an Occupational Health Nurse will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of local occupational medicine requirements and wellbeing programs. You will work to ensure that Microsoft employees have a safe and healthy working environment by recognizing risks and unsafe practices, identifying and leading improvement initiatives, and monitoring performance and compliance. You must be an experienced occupational nurse, with a history of success in implementing processes at a large company. We are looking for someone with experience working directly with stakeholders to manage in-country compliance and someone who can be a thought leader with a collaborative mindset to help us shape our culture of health and safety through innovative, world-class offerings.

Responsibilities
As a Global OHS manager, you will:
- Be responsible for implementing occupational medicine requirements and wellbeing programs locally in your country, which includes disseminating information related to OHS requirements and standards.
- Help implement a communication framework to educate and build local awareness of OHS.
- You’ll monitor OHS requirements and standards which includes maintaining occupational medicine exam requirements.
- You will interpret and analyze reports and manage the documentation of the health, and safety impact within your country.
- You will implement and develop written OHS requirements to teams and stakeholders.
- You’ll also communicate OHS checklists and notifications regarding requirements via cross-functional projects and specifications.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications;
- Bachelor's Degree in Safety and Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field AND 4+ years experience in Health and Safety Worldwide Regulations
- OR equivalent experience
- Internationally recognized safety and health certifications
Preferred Qualifications;
- Nurse certification or equivalent degree or related field AND 5+ years in Health and Safety Regulations experience
- OR equivalent experience
The complexity of our activities requires knowledge and technical capabilities in Occupational Health and Safety. Some examples of specific processes that this role will be responsible for implementing and monitoring include:
- Supplier management
- Consult on ergonomics within an office and lab environment
- Working with teams in research and development labs on topics related to lasers, noise, respirator use, machine hazards, exposure assessment (Industrial Hygiene), heavy material handling, hazardous substances handling
