MAIN PURPOSE
The position is expected to contribute to execute performance analysis and propose and continuously sustain healthy growth by analysing data, as well as aiming to yield maximum profitability, revenue, long-term growth of one of our Fashion & Apparel brand in Japan.
Reporting to Retail Director and being required to build a strong partnership with HQ team, Retail Performance Manager plans, organizes local strategy based on 360 analyses. This position involves strategic planning, market analysis, partnership development, and ensuring a seamless brand experience across all touchpoints in the boutique.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand Performance & Analysis:
- Offering comprehensive 360° understanding of commercial performance to support strategic decision-making/action plans
- Propose structured analyses of performance results, to support decision making and strategic discussions by providing analysis on sales trends, benchmarks and KPIs.
- Monitor targets and KPIs to anticipate future sales performance and identify opportunities.
Sales Performance Management:
- Help set the yearly targets by BTQ and stylists and monitor on weekly, monthly and yearly basis, ensuring the team meets or exceeds them. Conduct a monthly meeting with Retail Manager and Boutique Manager to monitor performance.
- Offer in-depth analysis for BTQ performance improvement and market feedback to refine strategies and improve performance.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on business development activities and outcomes.
Budgeting and Financial Management:
- Stick to the budget for business development activations.
- Help find and collaborate with the Finance team to plan Sales Target and Latest Estimate as necessary.
Strategic Planning and Execution (full alignment with General Manager and Retail Director)
- Propose, develop and implement business development retail strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives.
- Identify and analyze market trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive landscape to guide business strategy.
Operations and boutique support
- Support all departments and boutiques for deployment of SAP related core system.
- Work closely with colleagues across functions to gather input, identify synergies, and ensure alignment of BTQ process.
- Audit action plan and follow up.
- Ensuring that all operational aspects of all boutique operations comply with Richemont guidelines maintaining the brand’s excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A background in retail and/ or analytics is required. Luxury brand experience is preferable.
- Experience in a cross-functional team environment. Attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
