Summary
Roger Dubuis is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Manager to lead marketing efforts in Japan. This role encompasses client activations, media & PR, event management, and partnership communications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the Japanese luxury market, excellent communication skills, a proven track record of successful campaign execution, and the ability to collaborate effectively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing strategy:
- Develop and execute a cutting-edge marketing plan for Roger Dubuis Japan, aligning with the global brand vision and tailored to the unique nuances of the Japanese market.
- Manage the marketing budget with precision, ensuring every investment delivers maximum impact.
Client Experience:
- Design and deliver client-focused events and experiences that forge lasting connections and cultivate brand loyalty.
- Nurture relationships with key clients and VIPs, creating personalized experiences that exceed their expectations.
- Craft compelling marketing materials and communications that resonate with the discerning tastes of our clientele.
PR & Media:
- Be the voice of Roger Dubuis in Japan, building strong relationships with journalists and influencers.
- Secure impactful media coverage that elevates Roger Dubuis' profile and drives brand awareness and traffic to the stores.
- Develop and execute targeted media campaigns that reach the right audience with the right message.
- Negotiate strategic media buys and track campaign performance to optimize ROI.
Events:
- Conceptualize and execute events & activations that showcase the Roger Dubuis brand and its exceptional timepieces.
- Manage all aspects of event logistics to curating unforgettable guest experiences.
Partnership:
- Lead the marketing and communication efforts surrounding the Roger Dubuis partnership with external brands in Japan.
- Collaborate with the partners’ marketing teams to create synergistic commutation and events that amplify the power of both brands.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and a seamless integration of the partnership across all activities.
Retail Support & KPI Contribution:
- Develop and implement marketing programs that directly support the retail team in achieving their KPIs.
- Collaborate with retail & WS managers to understand their specific needs and challenges, and tailor marketing initiatives accordingly.
- Track and analyze the impact of marketing activities on retail performance and make adjustments as needed to optimize results.
Teamwork & Collaboration:
- Collaborate seamlessly with global and regional marketing teams to ensure alignment with the overall brand strategy.
- Partner closely with sales, retail, and other internal departments to support their needs and drive business growth.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors, providing clear direction and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Act as a key liaison between the Japanese market and global headquarters, sharing local insights and advocating for market-specific needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the luxury goods industry.
- Strong understanding of the Japanese market and consumer behavior.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Experience in public relations, media investment, and event management.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Japanese: Native level. English: Business level or higher.
