RTB Advertising Optimization & GTM PM

About the Role:
We are looking for a data-driven and collaborative individual to join our team as an RTB Advertising Optimization PM. In this role, you will work closely with data scientists, campaign managers, and Japan-based business teams to improve RTB (Real-Time Bidding) campaign performance through model enhancements, market insights, and cross-functional collaboration. You will also support local business development and sales teams in identifying key market challenges and shaping the go-to-market strategy. This role offers the opportunity to work with large-scale A/B experiments across billions of ad requests daily and to directly influence product optimization efforts in the Japan market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with data scientists and campaign managers to improve RTB model and algorithm performance.
Collaborate closely with Japan-based Sales teams to identify business challenges, define product solutions, and support go-to-market strategies. - Analyze competitor strategies and market trends to uncover optimization opportunities.
- Drive data-informed decision-making to improve campaign outcomes.
- Design and evaluate A/B experiments at scale using billions of daily auction requests.
Research and test end-to-end RTB ad serving behaviors to uncover areas for improvement. - Explore and evaluate potential new signals to enhance model effectiveness.
- Work with the SSP partnership team to optimize traffic quality and supply-side performance.
- Coordinate cross-functional requirements with strong communication and alignment across regional and global teams.
Language Skills:
- Proficient in Japanese /// Business-level English or Mandarin is a plus.
- Able to clearly communicate ideas and technical findings across both local and global stakeholders.
Bonus:
- Experience in digital advertising campaign operations, media buying, or performance optimization—especially within RTB environments—is a strong plus.
- Experience working directly with Japanese clients or stakeholders is a strong advantage.
