The Engineering Hub Function leads technical cross-functional activities from the entire "Woven City" perspective. Our team, as one of sub-Function of Engineering Hub, supports internal developers in terms of development cycle, release, coordination over several development teams. We make standards, guidelines for the development cycle, and technically lead several teams in order to make synergy over them.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?We are looking for an experienced Senior System Architect.
The scope of this project is broad and challenging. You will be in charge of aligning entire development teams and enhancement or improvement of our entire development teams. You will work with stakeholders to identify problems of software architecture and requirements, set high level schedules and milestones, identify risks, and coordinate with cross-functional partners both within the company and externally. You will apply agile methods and best practices to maximize the velocity of your projects and meet customer needs. You are ultimately responsible for aligning and leading several stakeholders and delivering their successful execution while technical issue solving.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Integrate multiple product development teams and define and implement activities with ownership to improve organization as a whole for overall optimization as system architect
- Work with many development and business teams to identify root cause of problem, set high level schedules and milestones, identify risks, communicate clearly with partners, and lead the technical issue solving
- Contribute to development of the city with technical expertise by designing appropriate roles and responsibilities across multiple development teams and leading solving technical problems
- Partner with many development teams and business teams, actively liaison as a bridge and manage the project smoothly
- Follow changing technologies and continuously understand all the elements necessary for development. Not only software, but also hardware, research, UX and business
- Be responsible for the success of the cross-functional task force project in charge
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of successfully leading or managing new product / service development projects with technical professionality.
- Numerous experiences improving and problem solving projects based on technical expertise
- Experience in project management. Also, experience leading a team as a technical lead
- A wide range of technical knowledge and experience regarding large scale software development
- Experience in software development processes ranging from high level software architecture definition to operations
- Communicate clearly and effectively, displaying strong verbal and written presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple way and to tailor key narrative and presentation styles to multiple audiences.
- Ability to communicate smoothly, both verbally and in writing, with members and stakeholders who have diverse opinions
NICE TO HAVES
- Excellent project management, organizational skills, and communication skills, with a sense of urgency and the ability to take action to execute transactions effectively and efficiently.
- Experience developing IoT service products, big data platforms, and AI learning platforms
- Experience and knowledge of enterprise software development in Java/C#/C++/C/(or languages equivalent to mission-critical systems)
- Experience of large-scale agile projects
- Problem-solving skills, troubleshooting and effective debugging skills.
- Experience of incident management
- Business-level Japanese
