The opportunity

How you’ll make an impact
You will develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for ETRM solutions. This includes identifying market opportunities and creating plans to capitalize on them.
You will identify and engage potential clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored ETRM solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the energy trading sector.
You will collaborate with technical teams to ensure client requirements are met and solutions are effectively implemented. Work closely with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with company goals.
You will conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth in the ETRM space. Stay informed about industry developments and competitor activities.
You will prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients. Demonstrate the value and benefits of Hitachi Energy's ETRM solutions.
You will negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets. Ensure that all agreements are beneficial for both the client and Hitachi Energy.
You will provide feedback to product development teams to enhance ETRM offerings based on client needs and market trends. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to refine sales processes.
You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
You hold a bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Experience min with 10+ year proven track record in enterprise software sales, preferably in the energy industry. Experience with commercial systems such as ETRM and/or strategic business applications such as ERP is a plus.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Understanding of energy markets and wholesale commercial operations within the energy sector is preferred but not required.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with commercial operations systems for the energy industry and their functionalities, such as deal capture, risk management, and settlement is preferred but not required.
