Role Overview
Coupang’s FC Manager plays a critical role in driving our phenomenal growth by overseeing all aspects of FC activities. As a FC Manager, you will lead our teams to achieve operational excellence, focusing on safety, quality, and productivity. You will also function as an ambassador, championing Coupang’s leadership principles and corporate culture.
What You Will Do
- Strategic Oversight: Oversee and optimize all warehouse operations, ensuring seamless workflows from inbound to outbound.
- Team Leadership: Manage staffing levels, recruitment, training, and performance of all fulfillment center personnel.
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process optimization and the implementation of best practices.
- Performance Management: Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, address variances, and ensure targets are met.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams, including QA, Admin, Finance, Inbound, Stow & Picking, and Outbound, to ensure aligned goals and smooth operations.
- Problem Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for escalations, resolving operational challenges efficiently and effectively.
- Compliance & Safety: Champion a culture of safety and ensure strict adherence to all company policies and regulatory requirements.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of total experience
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a fast-paced warehouse or fulfillment center environment.
- Strong data-driven mindset with a demonstrated ability to manage, analyze, and interpret complex operational data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for advanced data analysis, reporting, and operational planning.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coordinate and motivate diverse teams to achieve common goals.
- Problem-solving aptitude with a focus on delivering results in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- General understanding of business operations across key areas such as finance/legal/HR/logistics/e-commerce/tech
- Experience of hiring talent as an interviewer or a hiring manager
- Experience of working or hiring within a start-up environment
