Primary Purpose:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead our QA efforts across Tapestry brands in the Japan region. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven professional with strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. This role requires a collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions. The QA Manager will oversee the full QA lifecycle, manage regional QA teams, and ensure alignment with global standards while respecting local business practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and contribute hands-on to QA activities (as necessary) in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment, ensuring timely and high-quality software delivery.
  2. Participate in planning meetings and proactively identify quality risks and testing needs.
  3. Define test strategies and maintain comprehensive test plans and regression suites.
  4. Provide timely reporting on testing progress, risks, and defects to stakeholders.
  5. Coordinate with regional and global teams to plan and execute End-to-End (E2E) testing across regions.
  6. Foster strong partnerships with cross-functional teams, ensuring clear and respectful communication.
  7. Collaborate with required technical teams to analyze production issues and drive continuous improvement.
  8. Contribute to company-wide quality initiatives and process enhancements.
  9. Lead and mentor QA team members (onsite and offshore), providing clear direction and constructive feedback.
  10. Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous learning.
  11. Work effectively with global teams across different time zones and cultural contexts.
  12. Support the development of automation frameworks in partnership with the automation team.
  13. Support quality assurance efforts across Japan, Korea, SEA, and broader Asia-Pacific markets, with the flexibility to extend to additional regions as business needs evolve.
