We are on the verge of obtaining Type Certification for our cutting-edge eVTOL aircraft, and we're seeking a RotoTeam Member to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our rotor system, from structural design to certification.
What You'll Do
- Lead the structural design and analysis of composite rotors for an eVTOL aircraft.
- Conduct fatigue life studies and implement robust testing methods to ensure durability and safety.
- Conduct stress analysis for blades structural design
- Conducting loads and vibration analysis analysis including rotor dynamics effects
- Understanding of multi-copters and rotor blades aerodynamics and rotor dynamics and impact on Loads
- Provide technical support for Loads and Dynamic analysis for rotor design.
- Prepare and manage all documentation required for Type Certification (TC).
- Considering direct contact with certification authorities, including the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or other equivalent agencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including aerodynamics, manufacturing, and systems engineering, to integrate the rotor system seamlessly into the aircraft.
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills:

- Demonstrated experience in the design and certification of composite propellers (Part 35) or composite rotors (Part 27 or 29).
- Direct experience working with certification authorities and preparing technical documents for Type Certification.
- Deep understanding of composite materials, manufacturing processes, and structural analysis.
- Experience with fatigue analysis and testing of rotating components.
- Experience with loads and vibration analysis and testing of rotating level component and/or aircraft level.

Salary
