We looking for a Business Development Manager, Future Business to be based in Tokyo or Osaka, Japan.

What you’ll do here as Business Development Manager for the Future Business?

• As part of the Business Development Team, you are responsible to identify and develop areas for growth for Axis in APAC, with a focus on Japan.
• This activity includes the business development of new business areas for Axis, such as: Axis Cloud offering, Business Intelligence, Analytics, IoT-related offerings, positioning the Axis portfolio in the evolving digital transformation space. Other areas will be included as technology evolves.
• You will actively develop effective relationships with influencers such as consultants, telcos, key IT companies, research organizations, or governmental organizations. You are helping to recruit and onboard new types of channel partners or new alliance partners.
• You actively seek opportunities to co-create solutions with end-customers or industrial partners on the topic of digital transformation.  You are influencing Axis’ audiences with relevant posts or speeches promoting Axis' innovative solutions.
• You work with Axis’ marketing team to position yourself as an advocate, a spokesperson, and an inspirational speaker on innovation and digital transformation. You are supporting and enabling Axis Japan to build the future with their partners and end customers. You are a transformation agent, a bridge towards new technology and new business.
• You are always in regular contact with our HQ in Sweden and with your counterpart colleagues in Europe, APAC, and the Americas in order to identify best practices worldwide and to deploy future business strategies across APAC.

Who are we looking for/Who are you?

• You currently have a wide network in the Information Technologies, Telecommunications, and Video Communications domain, as well as in the manufacturing industry, transportation, critical infrastructures, and government organizations. You have good experience in successfully selling and collaborating with them.
• Your IT background and experience in networks, IoT platforms, Cloud, big data, Business Intelligence, and Artificial Intelligence, also on sensors and actuators on IP, have been an asset to your career progression. You are a businessperson, always looking at ways to build new business from new technology.
• You are a thought leader, a good public speaker, a storyteller, and your influence and voice in the market are recognized. You personify innovation and vision for the long term, and you Think Big.
• You speak fluently both Japanese and English. Another Asian language is a plus.
• Experience of talking to CxO community is a plus.
• Working experience in a consulting company is a plus.
