Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in business, business development, or consultative roles in the entertainment industry (music, anime, gaming, etc.).
- Ability to communicate in Japanese and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in managing external partnerships and developing agreements.
- Knowledge of local trends and music culture across the region.
- Knowledge of technological concepts, business models, and music copyright, along with advertising and subscription business models, with a passion for music, pop culture, and digital media.
- Ability to grow in fluid, collaborative, and creative environments, working both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent cross-functional, external communication and influencing skills, with the ability to multitask, manage engaging priorities, and be able to work under time constraints.

As a Manager of Music Content Partnerships for YouTube Music vertical, you will be running programs with artists, managers, record labels and industry bodies as you are working cross-functionally with colleagues in marketing, product, business, operations, communications and legal to ensure the partners and users enjoy the best experience possible.
Responsibilities
- Initiate and manage day-to-day partner relationships and engagements, including activating partners' YouTube channels fostering their utilization of YouTube features, hosting and supporting education events for the industry.
- Work with partners to run YouTube's artist marketing programs and business/performance review meetings.
- Consolidate product feedback from partners, and manage troubleshooting partner operations, including copyright issue navigation.
- Create relationships with artists, managers and record labels, to renew existing partnerships, and to optimize opportunities, cultivate relationships to make sure they take advantage of YouTube's ever-growing suite of offerings.
- Support artist bookings for Google/YouTube initiatives (e.g., YouTube Fanfest, Brandcast).
