As a membership organization, the Forum engages businesses in projects and initiatives – online and offline – to address industry, regional and systemic issues. The Regional Partner Services (account management) team focuses on structuring and delivering tailored engagement for Forum Partners across all regions except Europe and North America. The team works in close collaboration with the Regional Business Team, as well as with Global Industries communities, 11 Forum Centres and Forum events. We are currently searching for a Partner Services Specialist (Account Manager), who will focus on building and reinforcing interactions with main contacts at Forum Partner companies in Japan.

We are currently searching an experienced and dynamic Partner Services Specialist to join our team in Japan. This role is crucial in maintaining and enhancing our relationships with the Forum’s Partners in Japan, ensuring they continue to receive exceptional service and support without any disruption.
Reporting lines & Interactions:
This position will report to the Head of Business Engagement - Japan and will focus on building and reinforcing interactions with Partner Representatives at Forum Partner companies in Japan. This position is based in the Forum’s office in Tokyo.
Responsibilities include:
Maintain ongoing Partner engagement with the Forum, through building and maintaining relationships with Partner Representatives
Ensure retention by delivering on tailored engagement plans for Partners to address their priorities and deepen their engagement in relevant Forum activities, in collaboration with the Global Industries and/or Regional Business teams
Onboard Partner Representatives into the Forum ecosystem and relevant engagements, in collaboration with the Global Industries team and Regional Business teams
Contribute to shaping the engagement plan for Partners, in collaboration with the Global Industries teams and Regional Business teams
Structure and deliver Partners’ events engagement, ranging from registrations, agendas, speaking roles and logistics
Partner integration and experiences across the Forum’s digital ecosystem
Monitor and generate intelligence on Partner companies to flag potential risks and opportunities for Forum engagement, ranging from recent announcements and partnership, annual and sustainability reports, and senior executive changes
Lead internal processes impacting the Partner, including unpaid dues and contract management
To be successful, a Partner Services Specialist (Account Manager) should:
Build relationships with Partner Representatives to develop and execute on engagement plans based on their business priorities and relevant trends for their industry sectors
Monitor and proactively manage partner retention and engagement metrics and resulting actions
Ensure a ‘One-Forum’ approach with internal product teams, Centres, and Global Industries teams to Partners to guarantee optimal Partner engagement experience.
Work closely with the Head of Business Engagement, Japan
Requirements and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
3-5+ years of professional work experience with Japanese companies is required.
Japanese and international cultural experience, exposure and understanding is a strong advantage.
Outcome driven, successful track record in key account management and business relationship development, including proven ability to engage with multiple functions and business lines in an organization.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills and command of Japanese and English is a must.
Ability to connect the dots in a complex matrix environment, strong collaboration skills, with disciplined and consistent follow-through for internal and external parties.
Strong service orientation and entrepreneurial and collaborative attitude.
Strong research and analytical skills
