We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer/ Pre-Sales Engineer to drive business growth in the Japan region, primarily based out of Tokyo. This high-touch role requires a passion for pre-sales management, a deep understanding of SaaS solutions, and the ability to collaborate with channel partners to deliver best-in-class IT solutions to enterprise customers.
Responsibilities:
At Ivanti, our Pre Sales Engineers work closely with our partners and their prospects and customers to understand and validate their technical challenges, identify the business problems associated with those challenges and uncover the value the customer/prospect will receive by choosing Ivanti to solve their problem.
Experience Required
At least 5 years PreSales experience with similar endpoint management solutions such as Tanium, Microsoft SCCM, Airwatch, InTune, Symantec Altiris, IBM Bigfix or others
Responsibilities
Manage all technical aspects and relationships of the Technical Sales Campaign
- Establish relationships with your customers that transcend the sales cycle.
- Be consultative in your approach to identifying customer pain points and attaching value to the pain.
- Seek to understand your customers business and the “whys” behind their challenges.
- You know that solving problems is more than demoing a product but deeply understanding the problem first.
- Collaboration with the greater sales team. Assist in pipeline establishment and growth.
- Work with account manager to understand forecasted opportunities quarter over quarter
- Updating of activities within SalesForce.
- Consistently and cogently address our customers’ needs through astute verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Build, manage and maintain strong relationships with customers, peers and partners
Experience Required
- Experience leading strategic and complex technical sales engagements
- Experience providing technical demonstrations, pilots and proof-of-concepts to a varied audience
- Excellent presentation skills in person and using virtual demonstration products such as WebEx or MS Team
- Experience working with Channel and Resellers in delivering solutions to customers
- At least 5 years PreSales experience with similar endpoint management solutions such as Tanium, Microsoft SCCM, Airwatch, InTune, Symantec Altiris, IBM Bigfix or others
