Kroll⽇本⽀社のお客様は国内外の上場企業、⾦融機関、投資ファンド、政府系機関などです。M&A関連や有事対応という仕事柄、経営企画部⾨や投資部⾨、リスク管理部⾨との接点が多くあります。HUMINTの⼒で⽇系企業をリスクから守ることが⽇本⽀社のパーパスです。
【業務内容】
- ケースマネージャーの指導のもと、受託したプロジェクトの公開情報や⼈的情報の収集・分析、仮説の⽴案、報告書の作成等の業務をお任せいたします。
- プロジェクトの平均期間は4週間であり、年間で様々な業界のプロジェクトに携わることができること、さらに平時・有事の両ケースに携わることが出来るのが、このポジションの醍醐味です。
- 少⼈数で運営されるファームのため、⼤きな裁量権を持ちながら働くことができます。
- ⽇常的に外部の豊富な情報源に触れることで、⾼度な情報分析⼒や課題解決⼒を磨くことができます。

◆情報収集と分析
・公開情報と⼈的情報を利⽤した企業や⼈物のデューデリジェンス
◆リスクマネジメントに関する助⾔やコンサルティング
・地政学リスク、⼈権デューデリジェンスの遂⾏
◆不正・有事対応
・不正⾏為に関する調査（ときにはフォレンジックや⾏動調査も実施）
◆成果物（調査報告書）の執筆
・収集した情報を分析した結果について、レポート作成
◆⼈のマネジメント
・アソシエイトやインターンのマネジメント

＊経営企画や事業開発、投資業務やリスク関連業務の経験、または
＊コンサルティング会社での資料作成や情報分析といった経験
＊上記のいずれかに類似した経験

＊公開されていない情報収集に興味のある⽅、仕事に裁量を求める⽅、リスク分析に興味のある⽅を歓迎します。
＊英語について、ある程度の読み書きができる⽅を歓迎しますが、勉強意欲や興味がある⽅でも結構です（補助あり）。
Kroll consistently provides firms with the professional investigative consulting expertise necessary to resolve conflict through fact-finding and critical analysis. We have conducted thousands of investigations worldwide and have an unmatched track record of resolving disputes and working with in-house and external counsel to successfully conduct and conclude internal, regulatory and other inquiries. Our experts help organizations with their critical fact finding when they need to conduct internal investigations or to examine allegations of wrongdoing. Whether or not actual misconduct is discovered, such inquiries, and their aftermath, can pose serious risks to companies and their stakeholders, damaging their reputation, disrupting their business operations and exposing them to government scrutiny, as well as to potential criminal, civil and regulatory liability. Kroll's investigative services and expertise have helped clients successfully resolve investigations promptly and with minimal business disruption.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handling a broad range of risk management projects and a broad range of business intelligence and investigatory projects, usually for commercial clients
- Conducting extensive primary and secondary web-based research
- Identifying relevant information and developing useful insights into research subjects
- Writing and editing of research reports for client use
- Tracking progress and ensuring timely completion of cases
- Contacting the client as required by supervisor
- Confirming the accuracy, logic and overall quality of research reports
- Take ownership of project and deliverables
- Coordinating research and working closely with team members in other Kroll offices
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong academic background, preferably in the fields of Finance, Journalism, International Relations, International Business and Political Science, Risk Management, Economics, Law or Security Studies
- Commercial experience preferably 3-6 years’ experience gained from a research-related or enterprise risk management field
- Ability to communicate with a high level of fluency and clarity in both writing and speech in English and Japanese is a must
- Proven ability to perform all methods of research, including desktop research and analysis from primary and secondary sources.
- Strong understanding and developed interest in Asian politics and current affairs.
- Excellent reports writing, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to synthesize large volumes of information.
- Enthusiasm for finding “the needle in a haystack”
- Flexible team player, with strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office. Ideally also proficient in investigative analysis tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communities.
- Experience working with diverse teams.
