Overview
Archer Professional Services (Archer PS) is focused on helping Archer’s clients realise value and achieve a return on their investment in the Archer’s solution, through the delivery of consulting and services related to Archer – the industry’s leading Governance, Risk and Compliance solution.
At the highest level, the Solutions Principal’s purpose is to successfully position these services as part of Archer’s overall sales process.
The Solutions Principal (SP) is external client facing and provides technical leadership and direction to prospective and existing customers, as well as internal staff and partners in the scoping and pricing of Archer professional services throughout the sales process – as well as stewardship of projects as they pivot to deliver.
Ultimately, the SP is accountable for scoping profitable, winning services bids, that deliver great outcomes for Archer’s customers.
This role reports up to the Archer PS Senior Manager, APAC, with a dotted-line report to the Head of Sales & GTM.

Solutions Principal – Archer Professional Services (Japan)
Overview:
The Solutions Principal (SP) at Archer PS is a client-facing role focused on delivering value to clients through Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solutions. Reporting to the APAC Senior Manager, this role leads scoping and pricing of services during the sales process, ensuring profitable and impactful service delivery. It supports both Archer’s sales goals and client success, specifically in Japan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build trust in Archer Professional Services through technical leadership.
- Scope and support delivery of solutions based on client needs and risks.
- Partner with Sales & GTM in both simple and complex sales cycles.
- Qualify and present solutions to clients at executive levels.
- Analyze client requirements and lead solution design using Archer’s offerings.
- Manage relationships with senior client stakeholders and internal delivery teams.
- Develop SOWs and estimates, maintain accurate PS Sales forecasts for Japan.
- Coordinate with partners and internal teams to drive end-to-end service offerings.
Expectations:
- Understand industry trends and provide strategic value positioning.
- Maintain close client and team engagement (onsite and remote).
- Represent Archer professionally and identify future opportunities.
- Stay up to date with GRC certifications, industry trends, and Archer methodologies.
- Travel up to 30% within Japan, APAC, and globally.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (technical discipline) with 8+ years of experience.
- Background in GRC consulting, technology implementation, or sales.
- Experience in industries like Finance, IT, and Manufacturing.
- GRC certifications (e.g., CRISC, CISA) preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and project financial skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to lead complex projects.
