THE OPPORTUNITY
The Content Risk Management Team supports our Content Organisation functions globally. This APAC-based role will work within the Production Security discipline in APAC and report to the Manager, Content Risk Management APAC.
Partnering with Content, Physical Production, Post Production, Business and Legal Affairs amongst others, the role will be instrumental in leading risk assessment and security design for our Netflix branded original content production in the APAC region.
Responsibilities
Support and execute the strategy for production security in the APAC region in alignment with assessed risk and business objectives
Support the development/ review of risk assessments, security plans, vendor management, coordination of local support, and incident response
Develop and communicate specialised guidance for higher-profile/risk production activities, IP, and locations
Utilise forward-looking analysis of dynamic global, regional, and local security events/trends to keep APAC production operations resilient
Collect and analyse local intelligence and risk signals to support production planning and security design
Support relationship management with relevant law enforcement, emergency response, and trusted security networks
Brief a wide range of internal and external stakeholders on security plans and impactful developments
Support development and deliver risk management training to internal and external partners
Works collaboratively with Production Safety functions in minimising operational risk
Support event security requirements as required
Qualifications
5+ years of relevant experience, which can include security, intelligence, military, media production, or NGO
Degree in relevant subject matter or demonstrated equivalent experience preferred
Experience with production, talent relations, or content creation is a plus
Strong written and oral communication
Proficiency in English and Japanese
Ability to
Interpret regional security signals and data, and conduct risk assessments
Maintain an awareness of risk trends affecting the global entertainment sector
Communicate relevant analysis and forecasting to key stakeholders
Interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
Travel regionally (approximately 25%-50%) and internationally as required
