- Preparation and review of USGAPP-basis Balance Sheets/Income Statements.
- Monthly/Quarterly/Annual closing procedures and reporting
- Arrangement for tax returns (submit information to a domestic tax consultant / tax provision report to US headquarters)
- Handling financial and tax audit
- ERP implementation work
Group company 1:
Switch from Yayoi Accounting to Oracle on January 1, 2026.
(Implementation testing has been completed once by May 2025. The same test is planned from Sep 2025 and go live in January 2026)
Group company 2:
Switch from Yayoi Accounting to SAP. The project will start within a few years. - Support other Finance Department members
- Accounting and finance skills in accordance with US GAAP and Japanese accounting standards in general
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting and finance related departments
- Experience with business application Oracle
- English skills: TOEIC score 750 or above (communicate with overseas offices via email, phone, and video conferencing)
- PC skills (Excel: advanced)
- Internal and external audit experience a plus
- Tax experience a plus
- Experience with SOX compliance a plus
- USCPA or CPA certification a plus
- College degree or equivalent knowledge
