The Opportunity:
As a Training Instructor/Facilitator you will provide command-wide training and administrative support and lead the Integrated Project Team Development (IPTD) program for our customers at Ship Repair Facility and Japan Regional Maintenance Center (SRF-JRMC) on-site located in Sasebo, Japan. You will purposefully build high-performing project teams and develop project managers’ leadership skills. This is a customer-facing role with a strong emphasis on building relationships, influencing leadership development skills, and organizing meetings/events for success. You will be responsible for simultaneously planning and executing multiple events. You will manage communications, customer expectations, staffing assignments, and command training program deliverables.
Responsibilities:
Plan, execute, and closeout Integrated Project Team Development (IPTD) events according to local and higher echelon instructions and guidance.
Build and develop relationships with integrated stakeholders across SRF-JRMC and the greater Naval Maintenance Community.
Collaborate and develop project team training continuums through team formation and project execution.
Produce timely reports for distribution to stakeholders, customers, and CACI leadership, including managing databases and metrics/data related to local SRF-JRMC training events.
Plan and deliver events and meetings of varied duration for small to medium groups ranging from project team and deck plate experts up to Flag Officer level. Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to develop strategies for learning and delivery.
Develop and conduct training with a focus on individual development, team development, and organizational development to build high-performing teams.
Support/interface with the customer via the telephone, video conferencing, email, chat, and applicable online presence.
A willingness to dive into and take ownership of tasks that are outside of experience and comfort zones is an imperative.
This position demands that the individual be unafraid to ask questions in order to understand roles and responsibilities in an effort to be fully capable of independently executing tasking.
Qualifications:
Required:
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have the ability to obtain a DoD Interim Secret security clearance and subsequent final DoD Secret security clearance.
A University Degree (BA/BS) or five (5) years equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of related work experience (adult learning, training, facilitation, military, and/or naval maintenance).
Willingness and ability to experiment and invent new approaches to provide the highest caliber service to our customer.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with customers at all levels of the organization in a professional, effective manner.
Strong customer service orientation.
Respectfully engage customers in a manner that achieves successful outcomes.
Ability to organize work efficiently and manage time effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint)
Desired:
Experience working on a US government or Department of the Navy site, within a naval shipyard, regional maintenance center, or naval maintenance environment.
Experience working or studying in Japan, basic or higher level of Japanese language proficiency.
Any of the following: Professional Facilitation Training and/or Certificate, Project Management Training, Curriculum Development Training, Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt, Organizational Behavior Training, and/or Team Development Training.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
