Job Family Definition:
Administers and maintains sales operational systems and processes to provide content, data and information management in support of sales pursuits. Develops and manages catalog and web-based content, web pages and other online sources for storing and communicating information for sales and partners. Enters, updates and ensures accuracy of data in sales and client and partner relationship management systems generates regular and ad hoc reports for account teams and leadership. Advises on improvements and enhancements for design of sales systems and tools.
Management Level Definition:
Applies intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues. Works on problems of moderately complex scope. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input. Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action. Follows established guidelines and interprets policies. Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations.
Responsibilities:
The Proposal manager supports bid teams for large or complex direct customers' requests for proposals. He/She provides internal project management coordination:
- Create Sharepoint/Teams group/distribution list for the response team
- Prepare response team project documents from customers’ requests for information or proposal such as compliance list
- Set up response team internal meetings, produce minutes and secure actions follow up to deliver clients’ proposal on time
- Maintain/edit/finalize proposal documents to be sent to the clients according to HPE Branding guidelines (PPT, Excel, Word)
- Print/bind responses to be sent to the client
- Support sales in preparing clients’ review Powerpoint presentations
- Help maintain the content library with up to date information, communicate with various teams to discuss what slides should be added/removed…
- Support sales with research for documents from team content library or other HPE tools (ex: Seismic, PS Now, Pweb...) such as ISO certification, products information…
- Communicates issues to stakeholders
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or equivalent
- Typically more than 5 years experience
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and ability to understand and talk a little bit in English
- Autonomy and Organization : ability to organize his/her work, to manage multiple tasks at the same time ; good time management
- Attention to detail/ability to understand requests and desire to satisfy internal and external customers’ requests (customer centricity)
- Master in Microsoft tools (especially PowerPoint)
- Understanding of business and sales processes and practices
- Understanding of IT products & industry, previous experience in IT configurations/solutions
- Project/proposal management experience
