Job Description:
Job Summary: We are looking for a new sales rep to join our Specialty team! You will be responsible for selling assigned products within designated territory according to approved sales management guidelines. This includes establishing and maintaining accounts, making sales calls, developing and implementing effective marketing strategies, managing customer relationships, and achieving established goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Establishes and develops professional business relationships with customers (HCPs) within a specified geographic area or customer segment.
• Develops knowledge of customer needs through regular contact and by utilizing resources such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
• Calls on current and potential customers to sell assigned product(s), including existing accounts and prospects within a specified geography.
• Makes outbound telephone calls to healthcare professionals to promote product(s) and services.
• Develops and implements effective marketing strategies to reach target audiences and achieve sales goals.
• Identifies and capitalizes on opportunities to increase sales volume through the sale of additional products or services.
• Maintains accurate records of customer contacts using CRM.
• Participates in required training programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
• Keeps abreast of new developments in products, therapeutic areas, and market trends.
• Attends meetings and events as requested by supervisor.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of outside sales experience, preferably in pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.
• BS degree preferred; equivalent experience may be substituted.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to adapt to change and handle multiple priorities.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office applications and CRM systems.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter with proven track record of success.
• Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
