Role & Responsibilities:
The job entails execution of the operations of the Rest of Asia e-commerce business working collaboratively with relevant teams to ensure E-Commerce platforms, Business Operations and Marketing efforts are coordinated.
Key Result Areas:
- Drive Rest of Asia e-commerce platform optimization with focus in Japan. Support business team to drive sales and margins through channel enhancements, operations optimization, data and insights.
- Lead, develop and implement the online experience action plans, working with stakeholders across functions to secure resources and competence to implement enhancements
- Be the channel expert in implementation to drive acquisition, engagement, and revenue with brand partners.
- Manage key performance measurements such as increasing visitors, improving conversion rates, capturing larger average order sizes.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to bring ideas to life on digital channels.
- Be local expert for Japan to share market best practices and bring market local perspectives to regional discussions.
- Drive data into insights, to enhance marketing relevancy and operational efficiency with brand stakeholders
- Participate in other VF digital projects to drive revenue in market
- Lead OneVF discussions with external vendors and platforms
Provide direct support to higher level in the execution of ecom business.
- Partner with brands to develop and execute strong promotions and marketing promotions to gain new consumers and to incentivize more purchase from existing consumers.
- Continuously identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve marketplace effectiveness by applying local insights into data in order to support sales, profitability and conversion rates.
- Help to secure the sales performance in line with targets.
Analytics & Market Insights
- Provide actionable insights to brand to drive channel revenue
- Identify and lead local platform initiatives base on market practice
- Provide regular market updates for broader education of AHQ
Digital Marketing/SEO/CRM
- Partner with brands to drive spend and operation efficiency with Digital Marketing and SEO
- Manage digital projects deployment roadmap and provide locally relevant recommendations to drive consumer retention and acquisition strategy
- Drive content strategy on digital channels
Work closely with related team for daily operation
- DT: project management and channel capabilities
- Finance/Accounting: Assist payment check / apply V-buy to process invoice payment/ execute monthly accrual
- Procurement/legal: contracts handling
- BI/SAP: Data handling and reporting

Experience
Minimum Relevant Experience:
- Minimum relevant experience 5-8 years in a medium or large sized apparel company
- Experience in retail industry is necessary, working at apparel or footwear brand is a plus.
- Experience producing strategic E Commerce roadmaps, assessments, project management and planning
