IMH (Immune-Mediated Hematology) Marketing Group, Brand Manager
Background)
At RBD franchise, we serve people with intractable rare blood disorders by delivering innovative therapies and additional value around and beyond these therapies.
Within the franchise, IMH marketing is responsible for managing two brands which are, the in-market brand Cablivi for the treatment of acquired thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (aTTP), and the pre-launch brand rilzabrutinib for immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) and other immune mediated conditions.
Considering its clinical significance, Cablivi, a nanobody which inhibits microthrombi formation, is positioned as part of the first-line treatment for aTTP, which is a life-threatening autoimmune blood clotting disorder, in both Japanese and international guidelines.
Rilzabrutinib is a first-in-class & best-in-class, oral, reversible Bruton’s tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitor for the treatment of ITP which is in the late-stage clinical development. Rilzabrutinib is a strategically prioritized product within Sanofi, with the potential to transform patient’s lives by offering multi-immune modulation to address complex nature of immune-mediated diseases and to become a blockbuster. The FDA granted fast track designation for the treatment of ITP and granted orphan drug designation to rilzabrutinib for diseases such as warm autoimmune hemolytic anemia (wAIHA).
The mission of the IMH Brand Manager is to contribute to the well-being of patients with TTP and ITP while collaborating with internal and external partners, including the global brand team, to jointly create strategy, and execute tactical plans that align with the strategy.
