The Rakuten Ichiba Marketing Department utilizes various shopping campaigns and digital advertising strategies to conduct marketing activities that enable more consumers to enjoy convenient and fun shopping experiences at great value.
The Customer Marketing Division consists of four groups and is responsible for all aspects of expanding and growing the customer base, from strategies for acquiring new customers to loyalty and ecosystem strategies.
Rakuten Global Express (hereinafter referred to as the RGX team) operates as a delivery service for overseas users, with the mission of "Bringing the Best of Japan to customers all over the world": delivering Japan's wonderful products, experiences, and values to the world.
As the only service within the Rakuten marketplace that can reach users worldwide, we empower Japanese companies by supporting their sales expansion and business growth. At the same time, we enrich the lives of overseas users by delivering Japanese products to them.

Position Details
The RGX team is a small, elite group where you can oversee the entire business and be involved in a wide range of areas, from revenue management and strategic planning to operational improvements.
<Main Areas of Activity>
1. Finance and Management Operations
You will be responsible for making precise performance forecasts based on a wide range of data, including website traffic, purchasing trends on Rakuten Ichiba, and market trends. Based on these forecasts, you will manage the profit and loss (P&L) statement, identify issues, conduct detailed factor analysis, and formulate strategic measures to increase sales and profits.
Your data-driven analytical skills will play a crucial role in supporting the healthy growth of the business.
2. Marketing Planning and Implementation *Focus of this Recruitment
You will accelerate business growth with user data-driven strategies.
Specifically, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Planning and executing measures to acquire new users by maximizing the use of various marketing channels inside and outside the Rakuten Group (advertising, SNS, email newsletters, affiliate marketing, exposure at retailers, etc.)
- Planning and executing marketing measures based on user segments to promote continued use by existing users.
- Promoting planning in conjunction with sales promotion on Rakuten Ichiba.
3. Planning and Development/Implementation of Features *Focus of this Recruitment
You will plan new functions and services to improve the user experience.
You will collaborate with other departments such as the Organization Department and the Development Department, covering the entire process from planning and requirements definition to testing and post-release effectiveness measurement.

- Rakuten new graduates with 4 to 7 years of experience
- Individuals with overseas marketing experience
- Individuals with overseas cross-border e-commerce sales and trade experience at trading companies

Mandatory Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience
- Experience in planning-related tasks
- Project management experience (from project requirements definition to implementation)
- Comfortable working with numbers
- Ability to multitask
Desired Qualifications:
- User marketing
- Data analysis and statistical skills
- KPI/budget management experience
- Organizational management experience
