In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Reporting directly to the Strategic Sales Group Leader at Emerson Japan and with a dotted line to the Asia Pacific regional project pursuit leader, your role involves developing and managing account plans with a focus on ownership and execution. 

You will craft sales strategies for projects that align with the goals and expectations of Business Units for both export and domestic opportunities. Collaborating closely with supervisors, team members, and international colleagues, you will cover key stakeholders in projects, such as EPCs, end users, and OEMs.

Building and maintaining strong customer relationships at both senior and working levels is crucial. You'll identify and foster connections with new prospects and lead the sales activities of Business Units, ensuring coordination with fellow sales team members. You'll negotiate terms and conditions for projects that involve multiple business units, and proactively manage a funnel of projects to ensure consistent updates and achieve assigned booking quotas. By documenting and sharing customer requirements, you'll provide strategic guidance for product development to Business Units.

Working as a team to meet annual booking quotas for assigned accounts is main part of your responsibility, alongside performing other assignments or projects as directed by your supervisor. Throughout these tasks, you'll engage with people from a diverse set of backgrounds and varying levels of experience to ensure broad-based collaboration and success.

  For This Role, You Will Need:
  1. Experience or understanding of cross divisional activity in the matrix organization.
  2. Experience or knowledge of EPC business.
  3. Effective communication skills in both Japanese and English.
  4. Good people management skills with collaboration and ownership mind.
  5. Passion about sales
  6. Analytical approach with the ability to make data-driven decisions and strategy planning.
